Practical Plan for Model Center for Troubled Teens
by Yated Ne'eman Staff

Rabbi Immanuel Yosef Legomsky, Director of Menucha V'Simcha Neurofeedback Clinic of Jerusalem, has written a unique proposal for teenage problem children's centers that could be replicated everywhere in the world. The uniqueness lies in the approach of gathering rabbinical and medical experts together to simultaneously and systematically upgrade the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical lives of the children as a basis to help them change over to motivated productive living. Rabbi Legomsky has been researching and applying practical health technology clinically for some years successfully and says that he has found ways to resolve emotional trauma.

The plan employs the skills of a non-drug oriented MD, a physical body therapy expert, skilled practical oriented psychologists, his own machine and non-machine based brain and body technology treatment system, and a big brother system with young married tutors.

Rabbi Legomsky's sincerity and efforts have been endorsed by HaRav Chaim Pinchos Scheinberg, Rebbes from Boston and Amshinov, HaRav Aaron Feldman, HaRav Nachman Bulman, HaRav Zev Leff, Rav Avrohom Greenbaum, Professor Dr. Avrohom Steinberg-Pediatric Neurologist at Shaare Zedek Hospital, and Dr. Yisrael Yaffa who is part of the pilot team.

The long range plan is for worldwide larger centers which could be drop in and/or dormitory programs. The immediate pilot program to prove the system will be a small dormitory school program offering very personalized attention and a big brother system, the latest in effective and total health oriented treatment techniques and practical technologies, exciting rabbinically run Torah learning programs with field trips, and also interesting hands on health learning experiences and know how training that will motivate and enliven the teens.

The location is rural Israel away from the inner city problem environment. The school also has the latest in music, light/sound/color therapy and brain and body advancement technology for hands on use to help the teens have great fun while becoming well and more learned at the same time. Technology will be used as a window to improving cognitive learning skills, self-image, and personality improvement training. It will be run by rabbis with much firsthand successful experience and world class training in operating the equipment for ADD/ADHD and serious emotional difficulties. A parent education and follow up program for graduates will be part of the system to assure continued success during and after the program.

Rabbi Legomsky is now touring the USA, lecturing on the methods and plan, giving practical immediately usable techniques in his lectures, treating people privately, and looking for the teenagers in need of such a personalized attention, well researched, medically and spiritually effective program. Anyone wishing to contact him may do so at 941-926-1815 or 845-352-6859.
