Maranan verabonon shlita were on hand Tuesday for a
major event to mark the end of Seder Noshim and the start of
Seder Nezikin for Daf Yomi participants.
Sponsored by Meoros HaDaf HaYomi, the event opened with a
special prayer in light of the war being waged in the south,
invoking the merit of collective Torah study through hundreds
of Daf Yomi shiurim around the country. Noting that
"Torah mageno umatzelo," they prayed that southern
residents would be spared from all evil.
The event centered on chizuk talks given by gedolei
Yisroel shlita as Daf Yomi learners prepare to start Bava
Kama, the first maseches of Seder Nezikin.
Meoros HaDaf HaYomi has also been working to organize a
series of major events to mark the siyum of Maseches
Kiddushin and to encourage other prospective participants to
join.
