Ovos Ubonim Expands Prize List
by Betzalel Kahn

The national headquarters of Ovos Ubonim has initiated a drawing for valuable prizes to be held on Tu BeShevat.

Participants in this fabulous program have always had much to gain, including Torah study with one's son and bonding through velimadetem osom es beneichem. The results have been very highly favorable and participation is extremely widespread in every group and every location, and gedolei Yisroel have made known their support for the weekly program.

The enormous merit of this endeavor is accrued by every father who sits down to study with his son, and is counted among the mitzvas for which peiroseihem bo'olom hazeh vehakeren kayemes le'Olom Habo.

Now Ovos Ubonim has initiated a plan to multiply the merits inestimably and every Jew can take part in the thousands of hours of Torah study by all yaldei Yisroel, even those who do not have the opportunity to participate in the weekly studies themselves.

Through the Peiroseicho Mesukim program, in which children will participate in a special drawing, the project organizers have provided an opportunity for supporters to donate a modest amount to become partners in the entire network of Ovos Ubonim activities. By investing and tending the "tree," the fruits (i.e. the sons) ripen and turn out sweet and full of Torah, besiyata deShmaya.

By turning to the public at large, particularly Ovos Ubonim participants who are well aware of the importance of this enterprise, they keep the tremendous merits within the public itself.

The Ovos Ubonim directors say the public can certainly appreciate this great gesture, though it makes fundraising a bit complicated, and has an idea of the large outlays needed to fund the entire network encompassing thousands of participants every week, but for the sake of Klal Yisroel and its merits the task is being carried out in this manner.
