Jewish-American millionaire Daniel Abraham, a leftist, pro-peace activist, provided the funding for the "mass protest" on Motzei Shabbos.
Last Friday, during the Nine Days, gedolei Yisroel shlita on the presidential board of Mifal HaShas HaOlami held their annual meeting. They addressed issues of critical importance to the Torah world and devoted their time to arranging study programs for the thousands of Torah scholars in Mifal HaShas, which was founded three decades ago by the Tzanzer Rebbe at the advice of one of the luminaries of the generation.
