Atomic Technology is Threatening the World

North Korea exploded one nuclear device and is reportedly
working on a second test. Iran is working furiously to
construct an atomic bomb. Mohammed El Baradei, the head of
the International Atomic Energy Agency, warned that as many
as 30 countries may have technology that would let them
produce atomic weapons "in a very short time."
Mesila: Family Money Management for Chareidim

organization in recognition of its supporters and friends.
Shema Beni's New English-Language Hotline

The Shema Beni Educational Counselling Center will begin
operating a English language hotline. The hotline will
operate three times a week during evening hours, and will
provide counselling on educational issues. The educators
manning the hotline are specially trained in the unique needs
of English-speakers.

City of Haifa Issued Permission to Build Succos on
Sidewalk

The City of Haifa gave notice that it permitted the building
of succas after avreichim representing the local
kehilloh asked the municipality to issue a written
notice of its approval in accordance with the halachic ruling
by Maran HaRav Eliashiv shlita, who says one needs
prior permission to build a succah on public property.
Islam Threatens Europe

Fear of Islam has reached the schools and cultural
institutions of Europe. Jewish-French intellectuals accused
French authorities of refusing to protect a philosophy
teacher who fled his home and went into hiding after
receiving death threats from the Algerian branch of al-
Qaida.
