Dirshu held final exams for its Kinyon Shas program and
launched its Kinyon Halochoh program shortly after Pesach at
the Heichalei Malchut Halls in Bnei Brak.
The Kinyon Halochoh program is designed to encourage constant
review through 11 exams held over a period of five and a half
years. The tests, to be administered at the end of Bein
Hazmanim in Nisan and Tishrei, will include questions written
by leading morei horo'oh and will be checked by
prominent morei tzedek.
Of the 1,500 applicants 500 avreichim were screened
out immediately and eventually only 400 will be selected to
participate in the study and stipend program.
Similarly participants in the Kinyon Shas program took a
final exam on the Daf Yomi following a preliminary exam
administered in Tishrei. Of a total of over 700
avreichim only 200 will qualify for the program.
