HaRav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss Installed as Gavad of Eidoh
Chareidis

A large gathering was on hand Monday afternoon to welcome
HaRav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss to his new post as Gavad (Godol
Av Beis Din) of the Eidoh Chareidis of Jerusalem.
On Sunday HaRav Weiss parted from the members of Kehillas
Machzikei HaDas in Antwerp, arriving in Israel late Sunday
night.
Monday afternoon a reception was held at Kikar Zupnik on
Rechov Strauss, where the new Gavad was received by
tinokos shel beis raban. In the evening another
reception was held at Kikar HaShabbos, with rabbonim,
admorim and a large crowd of other participants. There
HaRav Weiss delivered his main address, saying he prays the
zchus of the founders of the Eidoh Chareidis, led by
HaRav Y. C. Zonenfeld, zt'l, would stand by him in
leading the Eidoh Chareidis along the path they set.
