In the wake of the call of the gedolei Yisroel to
strengthen ourselves in devorim bikedusho in light of
the current situation, the Mifal Hahalocho Ha'artzi has
launched a new course of study of the laws of Shabbos.
Weekly and monthly tests will chart the participants'
progress.
The great merit of Shabbos has spurred the administration of
the Mifal to make special efforts to begin the cycle at the
onset of the winter zman. The enterprise will also
try to grant stipends as incentives.
Three pages per week of Mishnah Berurah are studied
over a period of three weeks. The fourth week is dedicated
to review and preparation of the monthly summary test.
An additional initiative offered to avreichim entails
the study of maseches Shabbos at a rate of three
pages a week, for the purpose of completing the
maseches over a period of 52 Shabbosim. Through this
intensive study, the Mifal hopes to strengthen all areas of
Shabbos observance.

zchus for Klal Yisroel by strengthening
