To The Editor:
The article about HaRav Chaim Barzel was very accurately
portrayed and a pleasure to read and brought back a lot of
memories.
The picture was taken at the opening of the Yeshiva school
which he founded. Looking at the picture and seeing him
speak, I can hear the words which he said. He wanted to
encourage Jews not to change their appearance and their
language and to avoid attending a public or secular school.
He was also very successful in getting ladies to cover their
hair.
The people in the picture from left to right are: Mr.
Greenbaum, Reb B. Vilshansky, Rav Porush, Rav Barzel, Rav
Abramson, Reb Shimshon Weiss.
Yours Sincerely,
Mr. Osi Weiss
