Kol Korei from the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah

Be'ezras Hashem yisborach, 23 Shevat, 5759, of seder, "Ve'eile hamishpotim asher tosim lifneihem"

Everyone's heart is pained and grieved over the spiritual degeneration and the persecution of religion and tradition in our sacred land. Recently, we have been oppressed by the yoke of the High Court, which is seeking to strip, Rachmono litzlan, the Jewish Nation of its sacred Torah, and to undermine its uniqueness and force believing Jews not to obey da'as Torah.

The foundations of our religion and the fundamental tenets of Judaism are being assailed with blasphemy against Shomayim. The Establishment is abetting the Reform and Conservative groups, in their efforts to sink their nails into all that is precious and sacred to us. Shabbos kodesh is disgraced; kodshei Yisroel are trampled; the guardians of Torah and tradition are being persecuted due to their beliefs and devotion to the Torah hakedosha and to the sages of the Jewish Nation.

At this time, as we stand at the brink of a yawning abyss, we cannot be silent. Our only power is that of our voice in prayer, and we will use the approach of our forefathers, which is to assemble and plea for deliverance, and to pour out our hearts to the One Whose abode is above, and Who is pained by our sorrows, beseeching him to save us from those who seek to undermine the fundamentals of religion and faith, and to issue a pure spirit from Above, so that all will return to serve Him with a full heart.

Therefore we ask all of our brethren in our sacred land to participate in the prayer rally, which will be held, with Hashem's will on Sunday, the 28th of Shevat in Yerushalayim. "The glory of the King is with the multitudes," and Hashem will not reject the prayers of the many.
