After consulting with gedolei hador, Har Nof rabbonim
have decided to hold several rallies during the coming weeks
in order to strengthen the neighborhood's tsnius and
chinuch. In light of certain tragic occurrences which
have recently transpired in this Jerusalem neighborhood,
separate rallies for men and women will be held, both in
English and in Hebrew.
The first rally was held Thursday night, the 30th of Nisan.
in the Boston beis medrash. Speeches were delivered by
Rav Arye Shechter, Rav Uri Zohar and Rav Yerachmiel Kram.
A rally for women in English will be held on Tuesday, the 4th
of Iyar. Words of his'orerus were delivered by Rav
Arye Shechter and Rav Yehuda Yosefi. The women's Hebrew rally
will take place this Thursday, 6 Iyar. The speakers were not
available at press time.
