They say that it was Vice President Vance who exerted pressure to put an end to the war with Iran. Apparently, Vance is no history expert. In an interview he gave to one of the media, explaining the significance of the settlement with Iran, the vice president noted that wars always end with diplomatic agreements, as is proven by WWII, which ended with such a treaty.
We don't know how many years of education Vance completed in his youth. Perhaps, precisely when his history class studied WWII, he had a cold and didn't attend the lessons, but a man who dreams of becoming president is expected to know some basic facts, one of which is that the war against Germany ended only after the U.S. demanded an unconditional surrender from Germany. Until they waved the white flag and submitted wholly, the war did not end.
On the other hand, Japan still refused to capitulate and was prepared to carry on with the war and not sign any treaty with the U.S. It took two atom bombs and the death of hundreds of thousands before the Japanese waved the white flag and signed a treaty of total surrender. This is how, in the past, wars against an enemy of mankind were culminated: not with diplomatic documents but with a total capitulation. Unfortunately, Iran is an enemy of mankind, and any agreement with it is not worth the paper on which it is signed.

Anti-semitism of Medical Professionals
Several days ago, a Jewish doctor in England, anonymous to be sure because he exposed certain severe anti-Semitic statements ascribed to his colleagues, expressing declarations attesting to their refusal to provide medical treatment to Israeli patients even on the verge of death. He claimed that he also witnessed situations where Jewish patients were denied kosher food during their hospitalization.
The doctor, who called himself Baruch and sought to maintain his privacy, related to a British channel interviewer that several of his colleagues expressed disconcerting stands against providing medical care to Israeli patients. "It is very frightening to have met doctors who declared that they, personally, would not treat patients who came from several areas in the world." He asserted that, "If someone is in the throes of death in the emergency ward, and comes from Israel — there were doctors who would order that they be denied treatment. It is deplorable in my view."
An official and independent report from the British government revealed that many Jewish patients in Britain have begun concealing their religious affiliation. In some cases, they even deferred or renounced vital medical services for fear of a discriminating or hostile relationship on the part of medical teams. The report found that Jewish members of the medical system experience categorical bans and discriminatory sanctions on the part of their colleagues.
Alright, so that is regarding the anti-Semitic British. We know them from the times of the Mandate when they always took the side of the Arabs and were against the Jews. In the enlightened Jewish state, there is no possibility of such overt expressions of anti-Semitism, but Jews who fall - plummet down to the abyss.
And the tale which HaRav Bunim Schreiber told should shock each one of us. Whoever is familiar with this renowned and revered Rosh Yeshiva, knows well that he is far removed from imaginations and falsifications. In a speech he delivered this week in a rally in America for the Torah World Foundation, he related what happened here in Israel, in one of the major medical center where he was expected to be treated.
When a doctor learned that the patient was a prominent rosh yeshiva, the doctor sent another doctor in his stead to treat him.
So we see that in order to find anti-Semitism, we need not go all the way across the ocean. It is present right here, just around the corner — not in the statements of Chagai Huberman (a prominent Kippah serugah journalist who called for violence against chareidim), but even from men-in-the-street, who refer to the chareidi public in an assortment of labels taken from the darkest days of history.
