The Arena Stadium in Jerusalem
Over twenty thousand seminary students attended the rally held in the Arena stadium in memory of HaRav Chaim Kanievsky with the end of the shiva mourning period. Words of poignant arousal and reinforcement were delivered to heighten love for Torah and yiras Shomayim from the mouths of prominent Torah leaders.
Assemblies organized by the Batya movement took place in two separate events, on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday morning to enable the twenty-two thousand students to attend, due to the huge demand of tickets, whose number ran out shortly after the announcement of the rallies.
In these recent days, a delegation of the Batya administration, principals of seminaries headed by Rav Yeshaya Lieberman, visited the homes of various Gedolei Yisroel to invite them to address the students who will go on to establish their Jewish homes of Torah along the paths of our Torah leaders, and to take part in this goal through their encouraging and vital messages.
