The Era of "Truth"

The veteran travel reporter of the State Broadcasting Authority, Sharon Idan, mounted a severe attack against the "Fake Investigation" that was broadcast by one of the media channels, that purported to show that in the special "Exception Committee" set up to allow Israelis to return home during the Corona lockdown, there was a distinct favoritism towards chareidim. As can be expected it drew a lot of attention and hostile commentary against the chareidim.
Yet the reporter found that the fake investigation did not cite even one hard fact that backed it up, but was based only on impressions and feelings of various haters of religious people. Idan went out and searched out the facts on the ground and found that there is not a shred of factual basis for the accusations made and the criticism in its wake.
Many did not like the truth that was revealed, and since the publication of Idan's findings he has been subject to repeated personal attacks in the social media.
This is his response:
"I thank all of the enlightened people who sent me personal curses, who open my eyes to see that the chareidim are `garbage juice' as one wrote me. You enlightened ones and mainly the big haters — will stand first in line at Yad Sarah for equipment when you need it, and will move worlds to reach Rav Firer for advice, and call Yedidim if you get stuck with a flat time on the Ayalon Expressway."
What are a few facts against the tide of hate that is cultivated by a coterie of antisemites who are backed up by the media? If a few of you media savvy can chuckle at the boorish joke of Lieberman about the wheelbarrow he will use to carry the chareidim to the garbage dump, why should be complain against a false and perverted investigation, that not one of those involved has expressed any regret or apology for being involved?
