Hundreds participated in a gathering in Sanhedria Murchevet to arouse and explain the dangers of the well-known and not so well-known issues of modern technology.
Speaking were the rov of Sanhedria Murchevet, HaRav Noach Heisler, the Rosh Yeshiva of Porat Yosef HaRav Moshe Tzadka, the Rosh Yeshiva of Tifrach HaRav Aviezer Pilz, one of the Rabbonim of Ramot HaRav Menachem Mendel Fuchs, and the rov of the American community in Sanhedria Murchevet HaRav Yitzchok Berkowitz. Leading the gathering was HaRav Levi Yitzchok Lederman.
In particular HaRav Berkowitz noted that even aside from the things that are prohibited explicitly, many aspects of the Internet involve massive wastes of time and are therefore to be avoided.
