Rain and Kinneret Watch

Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret.

As of April 16 (27 Nisan) 662 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 126% of the average rainfall for this period and 123% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.

Most of the country has met or exceeded the average annual rainfall for the entire season.

The current level of the Kinneret is -211.795 meters below sea level (a modest rise from three weeks ago), which is above the lower red line of -213 meters. It is less than three meters from the upper red line of -208.8 meters.
