KIDDUSH HASHEM:

The fire halted at the field where Shmittah was observed. (See Picture)

An amazing scene of Kiddush Hashem took place at the Mesubim junction near the Ariel Sharon Park when a huge fire last week consumed fields and orchards indiscriminately - but stopped suddenly before burning a field whose owner keeps Shmittah.

The fire took place along Highway Four next to the southbound lanes near the junction, where on three sides one sees total destruction while the fourth, owned by Avi Mevorach who is registered with Keren HaShevi'is and has let it lay fallow, remains green and untouched.
