In the wake of the exposure of the meat swindle which has taken Europe by storm, there has been a huge demand for kosher meat, far beyond any such interest in the past.
During these last few weeks, the dimensions of the meat fiasco have grown to a size unprecedented in all of history. Supermarkets throughout England have removed huge amounts of packaged meat after laboratory tests have shown them to contain horse meat.
Subsequent tests in other countries have similarly indicated that horse and donkey meat have been marketed as beef, and food chains everywhere have removed meat products from their shelves as well to satisfy the overall panic reaction.
