German Court Dismisses Case Against Mohel

By D. Rosen

The German state prosecutor announced this past Friday that he has decided to close the case against Rabbi Dovid Goldberg, the mohel who was accused this last summer of performing a circumcision which "harms the body of a child" — half a year after the charges were filed.

Rabbi Goldberg was acquitted from all the charges against him and permitted to continue practicing circumcision on Jewish children according to Jewish tradition throughout all generations.
