Molotov Cocktail Thrown at New Jersey Shul

By R. Hoffner

For the fourth time in one month a serious antisemitic attack took place in Bergen County, New Jersey when unidentified vandals hurled fire bombs at 4:30 a.m. into an Orthodox shul in Rutherford and one caught fire in the sleeping quarters of the rov of Congregation Beth El.

Rabbi Nosson Schuman was with his small children and his parents at the time of the attack. He suffered light burns putting out the flames, but his other family members did not sustain any injuries and no property damage was caused.
