A New Meaning for the Phrase Forced Converts
Recently, shocking reports were published, saying the Chief Rabbinate
had capitulated to High Court pressure, bypassed all of the local
rabbis and appointed four national marriage registrars, rabbis who are
known for their Mizrachi world view. Through this act they opened the
way wide for every false convert who elects to enter, to come right
in! It is plain to see that all of the clarifications issued by the
Chief Rabbinate were empty.
Another Attack Against Jewish Activists at University of London
"British universities are reminiscent of the antisemitic persecution
against Jewish students at Berlin universities in the 1930s," said one
of the leaders of the Jewish community in Britain this week. Students
identifiable as Jews are harassed and beaten in the hallways,
particularly if they protest against antisemitism on campus.
Five talmidim from the Nit'ei Reuven talmud Torah in Netivot, part of
the Chinuch Atzmai network, were injured in the bomb that went off in
Jerusalem on Wednesday. A group from the talmud Torah had come to
Jerusalem to participate in entry examinations to yeshivot ketanot.
Two of their friends were able to get onto an earlier bus, but there
was no room for them.

house of Hashem!)" was the banner under which a huge operation to
bring Jews from all over Eretz Yisroel to Yerushalayim, was arranged
and successfully completed on Chol Hamoed Pesach 5704 (1944). The
event had special significance in view of the tragic background of the
times. For a fourth consecutive year, Europe had been awash with an
ocean of Jewish blood and there was still no end in sight.
