Representatives of Seminaries Meet with MKs

by Yechiel Sever

Representatives of the girls' seminaries (high schools) met with all members of Knesset from United Torah Judaism to discuss the issues of preserving the purity of chareidi chinuch and preventing any admixture of outside influences. All five Knesset members of UTJ were there as well as various seminary principals selected to represent them all.

The main topic of discussion was the recent attempts to increase the influence of outside factors, especially pressure from the Ministry of Education to incorporate several secular themes among the topics of study.

The Members of Knesset pledged to help the seminars asserting that they are prepared to brook no compromise and to yield no ground.
