MK Rabbi Gafni: 'High Court Blatantly Targeting the Chareidi Education System'

Torah-true Jewry in Eretz Yisroel and abroad is irate over the High Court's stance toward the chareidi community and the insult to its rabbonim through a series of efforts to interfere with the chareidi education system, notably in the case of the Bais Yaakov school in Emanuel in recent weeks.
"We regard with great seriousness the court's flagrant intervention in chareidi education under the guidance of gedolei Yisroel," said Knesset Finance Committee Chairman MK Rabbi Moshe Gafni. "The court is blatantly targeting the chareidi education system, trying to compel the students' parents not to heed their rabbonim chas vesholom."
"Chareidi Jewry in Eretz Yisroel and abroad will not remain silent in the face of this blatant attempt, which is unprecedented in the annals of the Jewish community. We will continue to follow the path laid for us from one generation to the next," said Rabbi Gafni.
