Magen Lacholeh Races to Fly Three-Week-Old Patient to Jerusalem

Residents of Jerusalem's Bayit Vegan neighborhood are already accustomed to these sights, but once again seeing Magen Lacholeh volunteers dispatching extensive medical equipment from its office facility on Shabbos and loading it onto an ambulance for a patient being transported to Eretz Yisroel for urgent medical treatment sanctified the Name of Heaven and made a powerful impression on all those who witnessed the selfless workers in action.

Kever Rochel Linked to Jerusalem Eruv

The compound surrounding the gravesite of Rochel Imeinu o"h has been connected to the Jerusalem eruv through the efforts of the Center for Eruvin in Eretz Hakodesh, which was founded by the Rabbinical Committee for the Sanctity of Shabbos. The eruv was set up under the guidance of HaRav Avrohom Moshe Katzenellenbogen, the rov posek for eruv matters in Jerusalem.


Request to Set Up Police Station in Meron

United Torah Judaism activists are making concerted efforts to bring about the setup of a police station at the site of Kever Rashbi in Meron and are demanding police act to ward off the disorderly toughs who have been desecrating the site through their recent unacceptable conduct.
