IDF Will Continue to Operate in Gaza

Senior Israeli officials said this week that the IDF could not stop operating in Gaza, although it will not take control and reoccupy the area. Defense Minister Amir Peretz said Tuesday that such operations are necessary to stop terror organizations from further arming themselves and to keep them from attacking Israeli citizens.

MK Rabbi Gafni: The Jewish People has an Eternal Constitution

"The Jewish people has an eternal constitution, Toras Yisroel, which has protected the Jewish people throughout its exiles," said MK Rabbi Moshe Gafni during a Knesset Constitution Committee meeting. He said the chareidi sector is opposed to the idea of a state constitution in principle, but said that if it is carried out with consent it can be done.
