HaRav Pesach Moshe Goldberg, zt"l, Killed in Car Accident
While Driving to Son's Bar Mitzvah in Catskills

Thousands of New York residents, particularly Bobov
Chassidim, attended Monday's levaya for HaRav Pesach
Moshe Tzvi Goldberg, z"l, who was killed Sunday
evening 18 Tammuz in a fatal car accident on his way to his
son's bar mitzvah.
Rav Goldberg, a ram at Yeshivas Bobov and a member of
the teaching staff at the yeshiva's Camp Shalva, was killed
while driving to the Catskill Mountains for his son's bar
mitzvah. The parents set out from New York and when they
arrived at the main interchange on Route 42 they collided
head-on with a car swerving to avoid a cyclist. Rav Goldberg
was killed instantly while his wife was evacuated by
helicopter in critical condition after receiving treatment by
