Herzliya Beach Opens Following Special Arrangements With City of Bnei Brak

Following negotiations between the City of Bnei Brak and the City of Herzliya and following extended preparations a clean, improved beach opened for separate swimming this week through the end of Av.

According to instructions issued by the rabbonim and in coordination with the City of Herzliya the entrance to the beach is via the new marina road behind the gas station.

The beach is open to men on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and to women on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 8:00 p.m. (6:30 p.m. on Fridays).

Dan will provide bus service via three different routes: the Line 54 route (like last year), a route via Kiryat Herzog and a route via neighborhoods Ramat Elchonon, Ramat Aharon and Shikun Hei (from Rechov Eshel Avraham to HaRav Rabinov, HaRav Fovarsky, HaRav Kahaneman, Reines, Bar Ilan, and Shapira). Detailed bus schedules will be published in newspapers and posted at bus stops.

Entry to the beach is free of charge.
