A Sefer Torah in Memory of Maran Rosh Hayeshiva HaRav Shach
ztvk"l

Immediately after the petiroh of Maran Rosh Hayeshiva,
many wonderful initiatives were undertaken le'ilui
nishmoso. Of particular note was an initiative taken to
write a sefer Torah mehudar under the auspices of
Yeshivas Knesses Yissochor. Bnei Torah all over the world
will be able to buy a word or a line in the sefer Torah
for a nominal sum. Bnei Torah all over the world have
shown great interest in participating in the writing this
sefer Torah.
Gedolei Torah, HaRav A.L. Shteinman, HaRav Michael
Yehuda Lefkowitz and HaRav Chaim Kanievsky have blessed the
initiative. HaRav Meir Zvi Bergman, son-in-law of Maran HaRav
Shach ztvk"l, has given his warm endorsement to the
wonderful project: "Certainly Rabbenu Hagodol will protect
and be a meilitz yosher in Heaven for all those who
participate and they will be blessed to see a dor yeshorim
mevoroch."
