Jerusalem Street Named After HaRav Dovid Povarsky

Following efforts by Degel Hatorah representatives on the
Jerusalem Municipality, the City Naming Committee decided
last week to name a street in the Ezras Torah neighborhood
after the late Ponevezh rosh hayeshiva, HaRav Dovid
Povarsky.
The new street runs from the beginning of what is now Ezras
Torah until the intersection at Even Haezel, near Ulamei Beis
Yisroel. The exact name of the street will be determined at a
later meeting.
