Sweeping Success for the 46th Yom Iyun of by the Beis
Medrash Lehalochoh Behityashvut

Hundreds of rabbonim, bnei Torah, kashrus workers,
public figures and farmers packed into the central beis
knesses of the Blumenthal Children's Home in Jerusalem
last week for the 46th Yom Iyun sponsored by the Beis Medrash
Lehalochoh Behityashvut under HaRav Yosef Efrati.
The many participants listened intently to captivating
shiurim given by leading rabbonim and roshei
yeshivos on halachic issues that are addressed by the
Beis Medrash Lehalochoh Behityashvut, particularly mitzvos
hateluyos bo'oretz.
For many years the Beis Medrash has held seminars and
yemei iyun that have become a central platform for
disseminating piskei halocho of the generation's
leading poskim on halachic topics relating to mitzvos
of Eretz Yisroel that affect everyday life. These yemei
iyun have made great contributions to increasing
awareness of mitzvos hateluyos bo'oretz and have
helped provide a wide public with important halachic
knowledge in this and other areas.
This heartwarming sight is visible twice a year--in Nisan and
Tishrei--bringing talmidei chachomim, workingmen and
all Jews who share in common a love of Torah and a particular
affinity for mitzvos related to Eretz Yisroel together under
one roof to delve into various halachic issues.
