HaRav Pesach Stein zt"l

This past erev Shabbos Bamidbar, the entire Torah
world was deeply saddened by the petiroh of the great
gaon, HaRav Pesach Stein zt"l.
HaRav Stein was one of the illustrious students of the Mirrer
yeshiva in Poland and Shanghai, and one of the world's most
venerable roshei yeshiva and gedolei Yisroel. He
taught Torah for over fifty years, and produced thousands of
students through the shiurim he delivered in the Telz
yeshiva in Cleveland, and through his Likutei Shiurim,
a series of written works on many masechtos.
He was the son-in-law of HaRav Zalman Bloch Hy"d.
HaRav Zalman Bloch was the menahel ruchani of the Telz
yeshiva in Lithuania and the son of HaRav Yosef Leib Bloch,
author of Shiurei Daas.
The levaya took place in the United States on Sunday,
rosh chodesh Sivan. Afterward, his aron was brought to Eretz
Yisroel. He was buried on Monday, 3 Sivan on Har Hazeisim in
Yerushalayim.
