What is Wrong with the Internet?
The American gedolim warned of its dangers some two
years ago. Now the rabbonim in Eretz Yisroel, a broad
spectrum including Roshei Yeshiva -- both Ashkenazic and
Sephardic -- Admorim and rabbonim, have warned that one
should not use the Internet privately, nor watch CD-Roms or
videos on the computer.
Avoid Chinuch Pitfalls
Because I realize the chinuch and educational
achievements of our children are of primary concern to our
readers, I feel it essential to underscore several pressing
topics some of which even carry a "kosher" label -- and
precisely because of this the required alertness pertaining
their dangers is lacking.

A Warped Way of Following
Two stories not long ago printed in the newspapers show a
widespread distortion of values. Ever since the Reform,
Zionist, and Haskalah leaders began to prevent Torah leaders
from guiding the Jewish Nation, these anti-religious elements
have uprooted hundreds of thousands from Torah observance.
There are others who, though perhaps partially observant,
have adopted a form of warped behavior, according to their
own notions of what the Jewish tradition is. By many, such a
way of life has created radical internal contradictions.
