HaRav Yosef Tzvi Dunner Visits Eretz Yisroel

by A. Cohen

HaRav Yosef Tzvi Dunner, the ravad of the Hisachdus of Chareidi Communities of England, president of Agudas Yisroel of Europe, and one of the most eminent leaders of Jewry abroad, arrived in Eretz Yisroel last week to bake matzos for England's chareidi community.

HaRav Dunner was accompanied by his son, Dayan Aharon Dovid, rav of the Kehillas Adas Yisroel of Tottenham, who helped his father supervise the baking.

HaRav Yosef Tzvi Dunner is considered one of the greatest experts in the field of kashrus, in light of his rich experience for over fifty years as head of the Kedassia, a mehadrin hechsher which is trusted by all sectors of chareidi Jewry abroad.

In his short visit, the ravad met with gedolei haTorah in Eretz Yisroel, with whom he discussed urgent problems on the agenda in London.
